Traditional Sash & Casement Windows

Keep the character of oringinal windows
We are experts at preserving, repairing and restoring traditional timber sash and casement windows.
Specialists
We are specialists in the use of the window care system, the revolutionary window restoration and protection system that combines modern product elastic-technology and repair methods together with traditional practices.
It is designed for the insitu repair and conservation of wood affected by decay; it is used by the National Trust and widely specified by Local Authority Conservation Officers, Architects and Surveyors.
Traditional sliding sash and casement windows have a charm and proven durability, which cannot be matched by any other type of modern window. Why replace them when we can restore even badly decayed windows to their former glory.
Studies have shown that windows are often replaced when less than 5% of their structure is affected by decay; this means that over 95% of perfectly healthy wood is unnecessarily thrown away as waste without consideration for the financial and environmental implications.
Effective repairs and preventative measures to prevent moisture from penetrating through open joints, end grains, brittle putties and the perimeter edges brings windows back to life.
The Art of Conservation is about keeping the original character of the window in harmony with the natural charm of the building.
